Anerythristic (Anery) corn snakes are a color morph of the classic corn snake, lacking red and orange pigments. Their care is similar to other corn snakes, with a focus on proper housing, diet, and handling. Here’s a care guide: 1. Enclosure & Setup • Size: • Hatchlings: 10-gallon tank (20” x 10” x 12”) • Juveniles: 20-gallon tank • Adults: 30–40-gallon tank (36” x 18” x 16” minimum) • Substrate: Aspen shavings, cypress mulch, or paper towels (avoid pine or cedar). • Hides: At least two (one on the warm side, one on the cool side). • Climbing: Branches, cork bark, or ledges for enrichment. • Water Dish: Large enough for soaking but not too deep. 2. Temperature & Humidity • Warm side: 85°F (29°C) • Cool side: 75°F (24°C) • Night temp: 70°F (21°C) • Heating: Use an under-tank heat mat with a thermostat (avoid heat rocks). • Humidity: 40–50% (increase slightly during shedding). 3. Lighting • Corn snakes don’t require UVB, but low-level UVB (5%) can be beneficial. • Maintain a natural light cycle (12 hours light, 12 hours dark). 4. Diet • Hatchlings: 1 pinky mouse every 5–7 days. • Juveniles: 1 fuzzy or small mouse every 7 days. • Adults: 1 adult mouse every 10–14 days. • Prey size: Should be about the same width as the snake’s thickest part. • Feeding method: Feed thawed frozen prey (safer than live). 5. Handling & Temperament • Let new snakes settle for at least a week before handling. • Handle gently and support the body. • Limit handling to 10–15 minutes a few times per week. • Avoid handling after feeding (wait at least 48 hours). 6. Shedding & Health • Signs of shedding: Dull scales, blue/opaque eyes. • Help shedding: Provide a humid hide or light misting. • Health issues to watch for: • Respiratory infections (bubbling nose, wheezing). • Mites (tiny black dots on scales or in water). • Scale rot (reddish, damaged scales). 7. Lifespan & Growth • Lifespan: 15–20+ years with proper care. • Adult size: 4–6 feet long. Would you like advice on anything specific?Delivery Charge only £25
